Couples Counselling
When you run into difficult moments in your intimate relationship, couples counselling can be effective to resolve issues that negatively affect your relationship. Couples therapy aims to help individuals recognize and resolve conflict and improve their relationship. Through counselling couples clients will learn how to understand their partners perspective while also exploring their own actions. By working with a trained counsellor, couples can receive an objective third party perspective and learn new strategies focused on rebuilding the relationship.
Effective marriage and relationship counselling requires the participation of both partners, who must take responsibility for their actions, and be committed to build trust in the relationship. Couples counselling can be successful with the help of Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cultural Counselling and Gottman Method.
We provide online and in person counselling for specific issues, such as stress, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, family conflicts, grief and more.

Family Therapy
At times we can hit certain roadblocks in our relationship that are complicated and difficult to navigate. As we grow and change in relationships we sometimes have family members that are stuck in old patterns of behaviour that no longer align with our values. In stressful life situations family members are left emotionally exhausted and may take out their frustrations with loved ones. For example, the loss of a loved one, conflict with inlaws, children struggling with addiction issues, and financial difficulties can cause individuals to engage in problematic behaviours.
We can help with family-relationship conflict, parent-teen challenges, parent education, cross-cultural issues, mental health support and more. Through a family counsellor individuals are able to express their concerns and work towards common goals such as reunification and improved communication.
